Do you have potatoes at home? And a bit of paint and kraft paper? Perfect! Then it’s time to relax and open today’s advent surprise:
Stamped Gift Wrap
In the very unlikely case that you already have all you christmas gift you’re one step closer to the finish line but you’re still missing something important: The perfect gift wrap!
Luckily you have me & I’m going to show you the solution:
You will need:
- kraft paper
- 1 medium sized potato
- white poster paint
- paint brush & knife
- black marker
The first step is make the stamp: Cut the potato in half, carefully mark out a rectangle (1 cm deep). Slice around it to reveal your shape. Cut the top edges of the rectangle and make a little hole (see photos).
Then you have to wrap your presents in kraft paper. Apply the paint to the stamp and then press it onto the gift – wherever you want the tag to be! Let it dry completely.
Now use the marker to add the “ribbon” to your gift and write the name on the tag.
It’s easy as can be so what are you waiting for? Save your potatoes from their boredom and make sure everybody get’s the right gift!
Have a lovely weekend & HAPPY CRAFTING!
